With DASH, extra large, 180-degree, auto-rotating display, temperatures are always easy to read, in either hand. The bright backlight stays on for 10 seconds, so temperatures can be read even in dimly-lit areas. The convenient neck lanyard attaches to either the thermometer or the probe cover, so you can wear it whichever way you like. Or, attach it to any magnetic surface with the built-in, strong magnets.
From the factory, DASH/DASH Mini should read within ±0.9°F and a calibration adjustment should never be needed. However, you can fine tune your calibration at a single point for even better accuracy. DASH's 4.5-inch probe is perfect for reaching to the center of large roasts, while DASH Mini's 2.8-inch probe is great for thick or thin portions. Both give you readings within 3-4 seconds.
